Alasdair Gold has now revealed that Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky is nursing a minor injury with surgery pencilled for the end of the season.

Antonin Kinsky has seen his Tottenham Hotspur career go full circle in the last couple of weeks after his howlers on his Champions League debut against Atletico Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

The young shot stopper has quickly put that performance behind him and produced a string of impressive displays in his five league outings for Tottenham since deputising for the injured Guglielmo Vicario.

Kinsky has since proven to be a solid replacement, making stunning saves in games against Wolves and Leeds, keeping Tottenham in the driving seat as they look to beat the drop to the Championship.

Tottenham Antonin Kinsky set for surgery at the end of the season

Vicario has now returned for Spurs and should be in contention this weekend after undergoing hernia surgery during the last international break.

Kinsky, though, will be hoping he can keep the Italian out of the side for much longer, even after De Zerbi admitted that Vicario remains his number one.

Alasdair Gold has now revealed the length Kinsky is willing to go for Tottenham, revealing that the goalkeeper is set to undergo a small procedure after the end of the season for a medical issue rather than an injury.

MORE SPURS STORIES

This suggests the Czech international could well have been playing with a small knock. It remains unclear what the issue is, but many fans will remember that Vicario had long had hernia issues and continued to play on regardless.

The young shotstopper now looks to have taken a leaf out of the Italian’s book as Spurs gear up for their meeting with Everton.

Spurs Kinsky misses out on Czech Republic call-up ahead of FIFA World Cup

Kinsky is also willing to go to greater lengths amid rumours that the 23-year-old has turned down the chance to play in the FIFA World Cup with the Czech Republic after being omitted from the squad.

It is explained that he has chosen instead to undergo surgery immediately after the season so he can be fully fit and compete for his place at Tottenham next season.

Tottenham fans plan owner protest for Everton match, but there is one big catch - Spurs Web
Description

One of Spurs’ biggest activist groups, Change For Tottenham, released a statement containing protest plans for Sunday when the stage is set for Spurs to battle relegation with a game against Everton.

There is a lack of words to describe the extent of heartbreak and disappointment that Spurs fans have felt as a collective this season.

For a club the size of Tottenham Hotspur to face such likelihood of relegation should be unimaginable, yet Spurs are at genuine threat of playing their next football in the Championship.

This has left many fan groups understandably furious, and fan protests were a common occurrence in and around the grounds, especially during Thomas Frank’s reign.

With one last game left to save the club from relegation, fan groups are again making plans to protest the leadership that created the current situation at Tottenham.

Change for Tottenham announces plan to protest after Everton game, regardless of result

Change for Tottenham, as one of the larger fan associations at Tottenham Hotspur, has frequently taken the initiative to organise protests against the leadership of ENIC, the current majority owners of the club.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Now, another protest has been announced and is set to take place right after the game, regardless if Spurs manage to avoid relegation.

“When the final whistle blows, regardless of the result, we need to stand up to the board for putting us in this perilous position. This isn’t just a one-off season, this is 2 disastrous league finishes back to back which has led to our Premier League status being decided on the last day of this campaign,”

Part of the statement from Change from Tottenham

Details regarding the specific time and place of the Tottenham fan protest are set to be announced.

Spurs fans are asked to get behind the team one last time, and focus on boardroom issues after

Despite the plans to protest after the Everton game, the group regardless asked the fans to get behind the team in the upcoming fixture.

“This Sunday, for 90 minutes, we need to get behind the team. Nothing else matters,” the Change For Tottenham statement read.

CFT places the responsibility for the current situation at Tottenham Hotspur on the club’s leadership, which itself endured an incredibly tumultuous year.

“Levy has gone and nothing has changed as it was never one man. It is ENIC & the Lewis family, who own us and say nothing. Promised success, delivering failure.

The decline in last 7 years has been frightening, from challenging for major honours to the brink of relegation with a “game changing” stadium that has changed nothing.

During this failure there has been one constant – the people at the top.”

After more than 20 years in charge, Tottenham’s then-chairman Daniel Levy was removed from his post by the ENIC leadership, installing a new boardroom structure led by Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange on the sporting side, and Peter Charrington as well as the Lewis family, on the financial and management side.

The fan statement calls for the expulsion of the current leadership from the club.

READ THE FULL STATEMENT BELOW:

“CFT statement:

This Sunday, for 90 minutes, we need to get behind the team. Nothing else matters.

We need the points and the players need every one of us behind them for one last time this season.

When the final whistle blows, regardless of the result, we need to stand up to the Tottenham board for putting us in this perilous position. This isn’t just a one off season, this is 2 disastrous league finishes back to back which has led to our Premier League status being decided on the last day of this campaign.

Thomas Frank should have been sacked months before he was and Igor Tudor should never have been appointed, which resulted in our worst losing run in the club’s history.

We were desperate in January for new singings, every fan could see it and the board did nothing. Their excuse? Johan Lange told us to “remain disciplined” and avoid “stress purchases.” January was a missed opportunity to safeguard the premier league future of this club – an error with potentially fatal consequences.

Levy has gone and nothing has changed as it was never one man. It is ENIC & the Lewis family, who own us and say nothing. Promised success, delivering failure.

The decline in last 7 years has been frightening, from challenging for major honours to the brink of relegation with a “game changing” stadium that has changed nothing.

During this failure there has been one constant – the people at the top.

Through all of it, you fans have been everything. The home support, the away fans across the country and Europe and fans gathering across the globe for the club they love.

So, on Sunday, our banners will go up in the North, East and South stands at full time regardless of the result. Join us to chant against the board and make your voices heard.

We can’t allow this to happen ever again.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium drummer has issued a rallying cry to Spurs supporters ahead of the final-day clash with Everton, urging fans to turn up in full voice as the club’s Premier League survival hangs in the balance.

Tottenham Hotspur definitely need all the help they can get if they are to get over the line against Everton on the final day of the Premier League season.

That game is as big as it gets this season for Spurs as their Premier League status hangs in the balance following what has been an abysmal campaign overall.

A draw or a win, and Tottenham are safe regardless of what happens elsewhere; lose, and the focus turns to West Ham versus Leeds.

Should West Ham beat the Whites, then close to 50 years of top-flight status ends, as Spurs’ relegation to the Championship will be confirmed.

Tottenham Stadium drummer calls for Everton pre-coach meet

With so much on the line, Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium drummer has now taken to the social media platform X to confirm rumours.

Bobby reveals that Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has personally requested the fans to turn up to meet the coach.

MORE SPURS STORIES

We have already seen that before this season, ahead of the Nottingham Forest clash, with Spurs fans coming out in their thousands to meet the coach to create a deafening atmosphere.

The response from the players, though, was underwhelming, as Tottenham fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the time.

Writing on X, he said: “SPURS FANS: RDZ has personally requested the fans turn up to meet the player coach.

“I promise you, last time it worked. The tactics let us down. The atmosphere was the easiest for me to drum to inside the stadium, so please get on board. One last dance to do our bit.

“Save your protests and everything else for the final whistle. I am not saying this to support the current regime. I am saying this to do our bit, as fans, to keep Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Spurs players must repay fans’ support against Everton

One can bet that the atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be buzzing regardless of the latest invitation, as Spurs fans have shown countless times this season that they are willing to play their part to keep their side in the English top flight.

The big question, though, will be whether De Zerbi’s men will be up for it and match the intensity of the fans, especially after failing to do so on several occasions this season.

Tottenham at home have been poor, with the Lilywhites winning just two times in front of their home support all season.

But that does not mean that a victory cannot be secured, as we have seen Tottenham turn it up at home in Europe this campaign.

De Zerbi’s record in front of the home support does leave some hope, as he has drawn the two times he has been in front of his own fans.

Luka Vuskovic opens up on Tottenham future, transfer rumours, and who he really wants to play for - Spurs Web
Description

Young Tottenham loanee Luka Vuskovic made his stance known on a return to Tottenham Hotspur or a potential transfer out of the club during the summer window.

Spurs are currently enduring one of their most miserable seasons in their history, with a chance for it to turn into the most miserable one yet.

With relegation never a more tangible threat, Tottenham will, without a doubt, look to put to bed a season defined by instability, poor performances, and countless injuries, with a result on Sunday.

But regardless of which division Tottenham find themselves in next season, the Spurs boardrooms must devise plans for how to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window. The Spurs loanees having breakout seasons in other leagues will surely factor into those plans.

Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic delivers a message on who he wants to play for next season

In an interview with the German newspaper BILD, later published on football.london, Vuskovic made his stance clear as to where he wants to play next season.

Vuskovic is currently enjoying an incredible season with Hamburger SV on loan from Tottenham.

“I’m torn. On the one hand, I’m happy because a lot of what was agreed with Tottenham has worked out in Hamburg. But I am also sad because I would very much like to stay here. It’s well known that it is my wish to play for HSV alongside my brother Mario, but in football, you can’t have everything you want.”

MORE SPURS STORIES

“I don’t know, I am neither an agent nor a club official. But if there is a chance, I would like to stay,” Vuskovic said.

Luka’s brother, Mario, is also a Hamburger SV player but was serving a ban for doping charges and was ineligible to play this season.

Spurs fans are set to learn Vuskovic’s fate in the summer transfer window

“The future will show what happens, but of course, if Tottenham see me as part of their plans, that would also be a very good situation for me. The most important thing for my development is that I play regularly,” Vuskovic said.

“From this summer onwards, I will be a Tottenham player again.”

Luka Vuskovic also spoke about the many rumours linking him to Europe’s biggest clubs.

“It’s of course nice that my name is being linked with such clubs. I also don’t know whether everything that is written about me and other clubs is true,” he said. “I’m a Tottenham player. We will see what happens in the summer.”

Tottenham Hotspur fans will love what Mohammed Kudus has said about playing under Roberto De Zerbi next season.

Spurs have spiralled from one injury crisis to another over the last two seasons, which is partly why they find themselves at the bottom end of the table.

The fact that Tottenham have been without so many of their key players over recent weeks is a further testament to the job that Roberto De Zerbi has done to turn the club’s fortunes around.

A key Spurs attacker, who has been out injured since January, has now teased the supporters ahead of next season.

Mohammed Kudus is confident of thriving in Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham side

Kudus was arguably Tottenham’s most consistent attacker during the first half of the season, but the Ghanaian has been out with a hamstring injury since January.

The Spurs winger was initially expected to return last month, but suffered another setback, which ruled him out of the rest of the campaign.

He is still waiting for his first appearance under De Zerbi, and it appears that he is confident he can thrive in the Italian’s system.

MORE SPURS STORIES

When a Spurs fan admitted that he cannot wait to watch Kudus under the Italian coach, the 25-year-old responded on X with: “Watch me”, along with an hourglass emoji.

De Zerbi sees Kudus as a key player for Spurs

There have been some rumours suggesting that Kudus could exit Spurs this summer, but the winger’s latest statement clearly shows that he is keen to play under the new Tottenham boss.

Additionally, De Zerbi himself has admitted he saw the Tottenham winger as a ‘crucial’ player for the club.

Spurs fans will be hoping that the former West Ham man comes back fully fit and firing in pre-season after a long break.

Andy Robertson breaks silence on Tottenham transfer interest after January move came close

Andy Robertson breaks silence on Tottenham transfer interest after January move came close - Spurs Web
Description

Andy Robertson has now spoken publicly about Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in him, after the Scotland international was heavily linked with a move to north London during the winter transfer window.

Many Tottenham Hotspur fans regard the recently concluded winter transfer window as one of the worst in the club’s recent history.

Spurs did little to strengthen their injury-hit squad, completing the signings of just Conor Gallagher and full-back Souza, while selling forward Brennan Johnson.

That set of transfer activity left Tottenham with a net spend of £15m and a squad still in need of strengthening.

Spurs Web reported that Tottenham still wanted to secure the signing of a few other players. Andy Robertson was one of the players on the Lilywhites’ radar, and a deal was reportedly close to completion.

Tottenham were set to pay a modest fee for Robertson, but Liverpool’s lack of depth at full-back meant the move was halted.

Speaking on The Overlap’s My Best Coach, Robertson addressed the transfer speculation linking him with Spurs and admitted the move came close during the January window.

MORE SPURS STORIES

He said: “Tottenham was close in January. I am not going to deny that. It was a serious consideration, but it did not happen.”

Spurs could revisit Andy Robertson move this summer

Since the move fell through in the winter window, Spurs have retained their interest in Andy Robertson.

The Liverpool man’s contract expires in the summer and is now set to become a free agent after opting against a contract renewal at Anfield.

Tottenham can now sign the Scotland international on a free this summer, but competition remains for the full-back’s signature.

Spurs Web, however, has since reported that a verbal agreement has been reached between Tottenham and Robertson over a move in the summer.

However, any move hinges on Spurs retaining their Premier League status this season.

As it stands, the fight for survival is set to go down to the wire, with the game against Everton set to determine whether Tottenham will be in the English top flight next season.

Tottenham’s history against Everton gives them reason for optimism before final-day clash - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur head into the biggest game of their season knowing there is no margin for error, but their recent record against Everton could at least offer supporters a little encouragement ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

The battle for Premier League survival has now gone down to the wire after both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur suffered defeats in their respective penultimate games of the season.

For West Ham, it was a 3-1 loss against Newcastle United at St James’ Park, while Spurs, playing two days after the Hammers, fell to a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea despite needing just a single point to ensure their Premier League status ahead of next season.

That latest run of results now leaves a lot riding on Sunday’s fixtures. For Tottenham, it is a clash against Everton, who sit 12th in the table and have little but pride to play for.

The Lilywhites, on the other hand, have everything to lose heading into the final gameweek of the season.

Should Roberto De Zerbi’s men suffer defeat and West Ham beat Leeds United in their own game, Spurs will be relegated to the Championship. A draw or win, meanwhile, will guarantee Tottenham’s safety.

Tottenham vs Everton head-to-head record offers Spurs encouragement

A closer look at the head-to-head record between Tottenham and Everton does provide some encouragement for the Lilywhites heading into this clash.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The two sides have met 67 times in the Premier League, and it is Spurs who have emerged victorious in most of those meetings. Tottenham have won 32 of those games, lost 10 and drawn 25.

Regardless of the overall record, the last 10 Premier League meetings are also in Tottenham’s favour, with Spurs losing just once during that period, drawing four times and winning five encounters.

Spurs home record against Everton could prove decisive

Spurs will be at home against Everton this weekend, and many fans will be scratching their heads over that, given how dismal Tottenham have been on their own turf this season.

So far this campaign, Spurs have won just twice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with only Burnley having a worse record.

However, under Roberto De Zerbi, that record has looked somewhat more encouraging, with Spurs yet to lose a home game under the Italian, after having drawn their last two home matches under the former Brighton manager. Of course, if they can manage another draw, that alone will be enough.

Looking at their last five meetings against Everton in north London, Tottenham supporters might feel far more confident about their chances of securing a victory.

In the previous five home meetings against the Toffees, Spurs have won four, scoring 13 goals and conceding just two. Another draw or win, and Tottenham will be in the Premier League next season.

Supercomputer predicts how likely Tottenham are to win or draw against Everton - Spurs Web
Description

A supercomputer has now predicted how likely Tottenham Hotspur are to get a victory over Everton in the final day of the Premier League season.

Tottenham Hotspur will now have to move on quickly from their latest 2-1 loss at the hands of Chelsea in the Premier League.

While that is a gut-wrenching defeat for the Lilywhites, given that Premier League survival was at stake, Spurs must now pick themselves up as they still have a shot at securing their league status next gameweek.

However, if they are to do just so, then they must overcome Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a point set to be enough for Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

Opta supercomputer backs Tottenham to beat Everton on final day

Ahead of that crucial clash against Everton, Opta’s supercomputer has now predicted the likely outcome of the match.

According to the AI model, Tottenham are favourites to beat the Toffees at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the two sides meet on Sunday.

Spurs have been given a 50.4 per cent chance of securing victory, while Everton have been handed a 26.8 per cent chance of winning the game.

MORE SPURS STORIES

That means a draw is said to have a 22.8 per cent chance. With Tottenham only needing a point against Everton, they have a 73.2 per cent chance of walking away with at least that.

Spurs home form and Everton’s away record set up a tense final day

The clash takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and that alone will do little to inspire confidence given Spurs’ struggles on home soil this season.

As things stand, Tottenham have one of the worst home records in the Premier League, winning just two matches while drawing six and losing 10.

Meanwhile, Everton have been one of the stronger sides on the road, recording seven away wins, alongside five draws and six defeats.

Spurs do not necessarily need victory against the Toffees and would secure survival with a point -something they have managed six times at home this season.

Former referee says Tottenham were robbed yet again by VAR against Chelsea

Former referee says Tottenham were robbed yet again by VAR against Chelsea - Spurs Web
Description

Ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has now shared whether Liam Delap should have been sent off for his late challenge on Djed Spence during Tottenham’s controversial defeat to Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur needed just one point against Chelsea to secure their Premier League status, but instead fell to a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, meaning their relegation battle will now go down to the final day of the season.

Despite the result, Tottenham were the better side for large periods, but missed chances and costly individual mistakes once again proved decisive.

However, Spurs supporters also felt the team were on the wrong end of several refereeing decisions, something that has become a recurring theme throughout the campaign.

One of the biggest controversies came late in the match when Liam Delap swung an arm toward Djed Spence while challenging for a loose aerial ball during a Chelsea counter-attack.

Many Tottenham supporters believed the Chelsea striker should have been shown a straight red card given the apparent lack of intent to play the ball and the use of the arm into Spence’s face. However, referee Stuart Attwell only issued a yellow card.

Keith Hackett says Liam Delap challenge should have been red card

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA referee Keith Hackett insisted the decision was incorrect.

MORE SPURS STORIES

“Frankly, this should have been detected by VAR, and the referee should have been advised to review this at the monitor,” Hackett said.

“Delap has looked at his opponent before illegally using his arm/elbow on his opponent, an act of violent conduct that should have resulted in a red card.”

VAR did have a brief look at the incident during the match but ultimately decided that Delap’s actions were reckless rather than violent conduct. As a result, they did not believe the challenge met the threshold of a “clear and obvious error” required to overturn the on-field decision.

That explanation is unlikely to satisfy Tottenham supporters, especially given the context of the match. Spurs needed just one goal late on, and facing ten men for the closing minutes could have significantly changed the momentum of the game.

Many also felt that, at the very least, Stuart Attwell should have been instructed to review the incident on the pitchside monitor himself.

Tottenham’s Djed Spence reacts after controversial Liam Delap challenge

Djed Spence was visibly frustrated by the decision during the match, with several Tottenham players immediately surrounding the referee after the challenge.

The Spurs defender later took to social media to react to the incident himself. The England International posted a slowed-down and zoomed-in clip of the challenge on X, appearing to show Delap looking directly at him before making contact with his arm.

The Tottenham full-back captioned the post with 15 laughing emojis, seemingly mocking the decision not to award a red card.

The Delap incident was also not the only controversial moment Tottenham felt aggrieved by. Just minutes earlier, Spurs were denied a penalty after Marc Cucurella wrestled Micky Van de Ven to the ground during a corner.

The Tottenham XI we want to see on the final day against Everton, with no Kolo Muani - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur must get a result against Everton on Sunday if they are to secure their Premier League status, and we have now put together the starting XI we want to see Roberto De Zerbi field.

The battle to avoid relegation to the Championship is now set to go to the final day of the season after Tottenham Hotspur’s latest 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

That match was not without controversy, but Spurs must now put it behind them and focus on their next league outing.

Up next is an out-of-form Everton side, who are winless in their last five league matches, picking up just two points from a possible 15.

For Spurs, the task remains the same as it was against Chelsea – secure a point, and they are safe. This time, however, there is added jeopardy, as defeat coupled with a West Ham United win will send Tottenham down to the Championship.

Such is the magnitude of the task ahead for Tottenham that Roberto De Zerbi has labelled the game against Everton as bigger than the Europa League final.

The Italian, however, must get his selection right if Spurs are to stand any chance of walking away with a result, and we have now named the Tottenham XI we want to see on Sunday evening.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham XI vs Everton should see James Maddison and Djed Spence start

The defence is absolutely crucial for Tottenham in this game, and De Zerbi will be faced with a dilemma.

The Italian could simply opt to keep things tight at the back, defend in a low block and secure a 0-0 draw, which would be enough for Spurs to preserve their Premier League status for next season.

Going with a back five, therefore, becomes an option for De Zerbi, but we do not expect that. Instead, we want to see Spurs approach this game in a balanced fashion – not too defensive, but still solid at the back while carrying an attacking threat.

That would mean De Zerbi lines up with the same back four as usual, using Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Kevin Danso and Destiny Udogie. Antonin Kinsky should remain between the sticks despite Guglielmo Vicario returning to contention.

Shielding the back four, we would like to see a slight tweak in personnel. In recent outings, both Rodrigo Bentancur and Joao Palhinha have filled the holding midfield role.

However, against Everton, we think Spurs should drop the Portuguese midfielder and move Conor Gallagher deeper.

Palhinha did not look at his best against Chelsea last time out, reacting too slowly to close down Enzo Fernandez for the goal from the edge of the box.

Spurs attack needs fresh energy against Everton

As for the front four, we want to see wholesale changes in personnel in that area of the pitch for Tottenham.

For one, we would like to see James Maddison return from the start after two cameo appearances off the bench since his comeback against Leeds United.

De Zerbi has already hinted that Maddison’s minutes need to be managed, given he is only just returning from an ACL injury. That means, should he start, he will most likely be withdrawn early, and that is something we can live with.

Spurs simply need creativity, and Maddison brings exactly that. If Tottenham can start quickly and capitalise on his presence, they could perhaps grab a couple of goals.

The other change we would like to see in the attack is Randal Kolo Muani dropped from the starting XI. Against Chelsea, he offered very little going forward on the right for Spurs.

Muani’s display left several fans frustrated, with many calling for him never to start another game for Tottenham. Replacing him will not be easy, but deploying Djed Spence on the right wing could be a solution worth trying.

When the full-back came on down the left last time out, he looked sharp and should be capable of helping out in the wide areas again on Sunday.

Joining him in attack should be Richarlison and Mathys Tel, who are the only other natural attackers left available in the Spurs squad.
