Premier League giants tempted by Guler

Premier League sides Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are all keeping close tabs on Arda Guler, according to Fichajes.

The 20-year-old Turkey international has made seven appearances in La Liga so far this season, scoring three goals and producing three assists.

However, Los Blancos have several big-name players battling out for minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"Arda Guler is going through one of his most critical moments: Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have him on their agenda, while Real Madrid maintain their firm stance of not selling the young attacking midfielder," read the article.

"Since joining Real Madrid from Fenerbahce, Arda Guler has alternated brilliant moments with periods of adaptation. He has excellent technique, vision, and can play centrally or on the wings."

Deco provides Rashford loan details

Barcelona director Deco has revealed that the Catalan giants will not be penalised if they do not sign Marcus Rashford permanently at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

The England international is on a season-long loan from Manchester United, and the deal includes an option to buy, according to the former Chelsea midfielder.

Rashford has scored two goals and provided four assists in eight appearances across all competitions so far this season.

He told Mundo Deportivo that Barcelona will wait to make a final decision on the forward’s future.

"We signed Marcus on a simple loan with an option to buy," he said. "It’s not a high fee. There are no penalties if we do not sign him permanently.

"He’s doing great, we are very happy, the final decisions come later."

Bayern keen to extend Upamecano contract

Liverpool’s hopes of signing Dayot Upamecano have suffered a blow after Bayern Munich director Max Eberl revealed that the German giants are eager to extend the French defender’s contract.

Upamecano joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2021 and has played a key role in the heart of their defence ever since.

The 26-year-old made 38 appearances across all competitions for Bayern last season, and Eberl says the club are trying to convince him to back their long-term project.

"I’m not surprised that many clubs are interested in Dayot Upamecano… and we are also interested in extending his contract," he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

"It takes time. We’re trying to conduct the talks and convince him of the Bayern project".
