Bodø/Glimt and Tottenham will go head-to-head in the Europa League semi-final 2nd leg at Aspmyra Stadium on Thursday night, with Spurs already having one foot in the final.

Kjetil Knutsen's side had the weekend without a fixture, meaning they were able to rest and recover following the 3-1 defeat last Thursday after goals from Brennan Johnson, James Maddison and Dominic Solanke. Ange Postecoglou's side on the other hand faced a difficult London derby against rivals West Ham and were held to a 1-1 draw with a much-changed side.

Both sides have injury concerns ahead of the game, giving the managers decisions to make, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expect the teams to line up.

Suspended trio return

Bodø/Glimt were understrength when they travelled to London last week but they will welcome back Patrick Berg, Hakon Evjen and Andreas Helmersen from suspension for this game. Odin Bjortuft has also recovered from a groin injury and is available.

Daniel Bassi is a major doubt for the game with injury, but there is hope that Gaute Vetti and Ole Didrik Blomberg will be fit.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Knutsen shared an update on the squad ahead of the game.

"We want to have the main role. The wrap is Glimt against Tottenham. There is a two-goal lead for Tottenham. We are not favorites, but we see the opportunity. It is a good starting point for a good performance."

Tottenham Team News

Maddison out for the season

Tottenham have been rocked by news that midfield duo James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall will miss the rest of the season through knee and ankle injuries respectively.

Heung-Min Son hasn't travelled due to his foot injury, but Dominic Solanke has been passed fit as Spurs look to battle against a difficult environment to reach a European cup final.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Postecoglou shared an update on the squad ahead of the game.

"Madders from the first leg. So he's out. He'll miss the rest of this season and disappointing for him. I'm disappointed for him because he's been a real catalyst for us. He'll miss out but that's been the story of our season. Everyone else from the first leg has travelled and they're ready to go.

"No [Son hasn't travelled]. Dom [Solanke] is fine and ready to go, he's trained with the team. Disappointing for Sonny. He has progressed and he's a possibility to get minutes at the weekend but he hasn't trained with the team yet."

Tottenham Predicted XI

Richarlison to start

Tottenham Predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Sarr; Johnson, Kulusevski, Richarlison; Solanke.

Tottenham Predicted Substitutes: Austin (GK), Gray (DEF), Spence (DEF), Danso (DEF), Davies (DEF), Bissouma (MID), Ajayi (MID), Tel (FWD), Odobert (FWD), Moore (FWD).

With Solanke fit to play it's a chance for Brazilian star Richarlison to start the game on the left-wing with Dejan Kulusevski in his preferred number ten role.
