Brighton midfielder Diego Gomez was left in tears during Saturday's fixture against Tottenham after sustaining what appeared to be a serious injury early in the contest.
The 23-year-old came down awkwardly on his left leg following an aerial challenge with Spurs defender Destiny Udogie, leaving him writhing in agony on the turf.
