This is the Chelsea confirmed lineup for their second public pre-season outing of the campaign as they remain in Australia. The Blues take on fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur who have been playing mostly young prospects so far. With some of the squad still unavailable due to World Cup breaks, Xabi Alonso brought with him a bit of a Frankenstein unit that has star names like Cole Palmer alongside unproven names from the academy like Reggie Watson. While this is going to be far from the finished article, the continued use of a 4-2-3-1 and a build-up style can provide some hints at how the manager will take his team into the league term.
