The Premier League’s Saturday evening game is a London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur that comes at a time when both teams are showing signs of improvement (kick-off, 5.30pm).

If you sign up with the bookmaker known as “The Bonus King” and wager £10 on this game, you will receive £50 in free bets that you can use on the many matches taking place next week, which will include the fourth-round fixtures in the EFL Cup.

Read on to find out exactly what you need to do to claim this Betfred offer plus a preview of the game at Stamford Bridge that can help guide your qualifying bet.

How to claim Betfred’s Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur offer

New customers at Betfred can click on the link above to be taken through to its offer page.

Click on the blue button marked “Claim here”.

You will be taken through to a registration page where you need to add your personal details and create a login and password.

Once registered, click on the button marked “Deposit” at the top of the page to add some funds. Your first deposit must be for at least £10 and made via a debit card, or a debit card linked to Apple Pay or TrueLayer.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur match preview

The Betfred odds-makers are expecting a home win in this match, making Chelsea the 4/6 favourites, with a draw priced at 16/5 and a Tottenham win out at 7/2.

Chelsea have won both their games since the Premier League resumed after the international break. They thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge before keeping their first clean sheet of the season when they won 2-0 at Everton last weekend.

Spurs are also showing signs of improvement. They had to make do with a 1-1 draw at Manchester United in a match they dominated, before finally winning a Premier League match for the first time the term on Monday night, when they beat Coventry City 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

James Maddison returned to Tottenham’s starting line-up for the first time since picking up an ACL injury in the summer of 2025, while Dejan Kulusevski made his first appearance for 526 days when he came on as a substitute. Spurs still go into this game with a lengthy injury list, with new signing Savio among those ruled out, while Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended.

Chelsea will also have plenty of absentees. Emiliano Martinez, Reece James, Pep Chavarria, Jamie Gittens and Emmanuel Emegha are all out, while Malo Gusto is a doubt having missed last weekend’s match against Everton with illness.

These London rivals have met on 181 occasions. Chelsea have enjoyed the greater success in this fixture with 83 wins, while Tottenham have won 55 matches and 43 have ended as draws.

If you’re looking to place a qualifying bet for this match that complies with Betfred’s minimum odds of 1/1 (2.0), I’d suggest backing over 3.5 goals at 5/4. It has landed in all three of Chelsea’s Premier League games at Stamford Bridge this season.
