Chelsea stats

Chelsea are aiming for three consecutive Premier League victories for the first time since a run of four in January and February.

Chelsea have scored a league-high six goals in the opening seven minutes of matches this season. In the last match at Everton, for the second consecutive week, we scored in the opening minute of the second half.

Our 25 goals in nine league and cup games this season are our most at this stage since scoring 29 under Carlo Ancelotti in 2010/11. No Premier League team’s matches have produced more goals after seven matchweeks than Chelsea’s 30, comprising 17 scored and 13 conceded.

Jordan Henderson covered more ground than any other player in each of our last two matches - 11.9km against Bournemouth and 12km against Everton.

Chelsea’s clean sheet at Everton was our first in the Premier League for exactly nine months and our first away from home since Bournemouth on 6 December 2025. It ended a run of 22 games without a shut-out in the league.

Cole Palmer has been involved in five goals in his five Premier League appearances against Spurs (three goals, two assists).

Against Coventry, James Maddison started a Premier League game for the first time since 27 April 2025 and scored the opening goal. Dejan Kulusevski made his return after 526 days sidelined through injury.

A league-high 50 per cent of Spurs’ Premier League goals this season have come from outside the box (three of six), all against Coventry on Monday.

Spurs are looking for back-to-back league wins for the first time since April-May, when they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa away from home.

Tottenham are eight points worse off than they were at this stage last season.

On their travels this season, Spurs have drawn at Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, and lost at Newcastle United.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side took the lead in the Premier League for the first time this season against Coventry. Spurs have gone 48 Premier League games without a win when conceding the first goal.

Tottenham have lost their past six Premier League London derbies. Their last win against a team from the capital was at Crystal Palace last December. They have never lost seven derby games in a row in their entire league history.
