Crystal Palace have registered an interest in Tottenham Hotspur winger and Leeds United target Manor Solomon, according to The Times journalist Gary Jacob.
Leeds reportedly considered bringing Solomon back again on loan to the Elland Road club after their move for Facundo Buonanotte was hijacked by Chelsea last week.
However, nothing materialised and Palace are now looking to sign the 26-year-old Israeli international.
Solomon played a crucial role in helping Leeds secure promotion from the Championship last season after weighing in with ten goals and 12 assists in 39 games.
He is also on the radar of Leicester City and some other Championship clubs, but remaining in the top-flight could be more appealing after Palace made their interest known.
The Selhurst Park club approached Spurs over a deal last weekend but were rejected.
They are now looking to seal a loan deal for Solomon with an option to buy before the 7pm transfer deadline today.
Leeds are still keen on bolstering their attack, and while Tottenham are now willing to let the Israeli leave again, it appears the Whites are currently looking elsewhere.
They have shown interest in Aston Villa midfielder Emi Buendia as manager Daniel Farke eyes a reunion with the Argentine after their successful time together at Norwich City.
Leeds are not the only ones looking to recruit the services of the South American, and they need to move quickly if they want to strengthen their attack before the deadline.
They have started life back in the Premier League on a decent note having made some quality recruitment so far this summer.
One or two more additions capable of improving their attack could come in handy to help boost their survival chances.
