A new report has shed light on Crystal Palace’s plans of keeping hold of Oliver Glasner as manager with the German having been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur job.
While most outlets seem to agree that Ange Postecoglou will leave Tottenham at the end of the season, there appears to be no clear front-runner to replace the Australian, with a whole spate of managers continuing to be linked with the Spurs hot seat.
Regular readers of Spurs Web will know that various reports over recent months have claimed that Spurs are considering a move for Oliver Glasner, whose reputation has grown considerably since he replaced Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park last season.
Some sources have even claimed that Palace have started their search for Glasner’s replacement amid Tottenham’s interest, but it turns out that the South London club are a lot more relaxed about their manager’s future after winning the FA Cup
Crystal Palace are confident Oliver Glasner will stay as manager
Glasner guided the Eagles to their first major trophy in their history on Sunday after his side beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
The Telegraph claim that the former Eintracht Frankfurt boss, who only has one year left on his current contract, is now on the radar of several teams ahead of the summer.
However, the report asserts that Glasner has already begun talks with Palace over a contract extension.

Palace are said to be confident that the 50-year-old will commit his future to the club and continue to build on the fine work he has done so far.
Steve Parish breaks silence about Glasner’s future
Palace’s co-owner and chairman Steve Parish has confirmed that discussions have taken place over a new deal for the club’s head coach.
He insisted that Glasner is going nowhere until the end of his contract next summer, but acknowledged that the club have to fulfil the 50-year-old’s ambitions to hold onto him beyond that.
Parish told The Telegraph about a new contract for the Palace boss:”We’ve been talking about it. For Oliver, it’s not about the things that maybe people think it’s about. Oliver wants to be part of something that’s going in a direction, same with all of us. Somewhere down the track, we’ll have a conversation and see what we all feel.
“Oliver will be here next year. Everybody knows the length of his contract. Beyond that, we’ll have to talk. We want to try and extend his contract. I’d love him to stay, but the club’s got to develop behind him, and the club has to show the ambition in terms of what we want to do to move it forward, for people to feel part of something. And if that all aligns, I think maybe he will.”
