Ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road, Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has issued an update on the availability of his squad.
The Whites go into the encounter keen to continue their impressive start to the new campaign, which has seen them remain unbeaten on home soil.
Prior to the clash with Thomas Frank’s side, the boss conceded attacker Daniel James is set for a spell on the sidelines.
“The doctors say he is likely out for four to six weeks," Farke told the press. "So that means realistically we just expect him back after the more or less November international break.
“If he would be there, perhaps available even before for one or two games, it would be a nice little bonus and a surprise. But he is definitely out for a few weeks. That is of course not great news.
“Willy Gnonto will also miss this game. His calf problems are not sorted. He is not back in team training and for that there is no chance to involve him for the game.
“He will also sadly just be back after this upcoming international break, so not available for this Tottenham fixture.
“A few question marks behind Harry Gray because he reported right now in training after he played the game on Monday some problems with his hip flexor.
“Some good news is that Lucas Perri right now is back in team training since yesterday. That is definitely good news but it is too early to involve him for this game.
“But I think then also the international break will be beneficial. We have two more weeks of training and I expect him on the other side of the international break then also to be available for our games.”
