Tottenham could see more outgoings than incomings during the final hours of the transfer window.
Daniel Levy’s transfer window has been met with mixed reactions from fans. Mohammed Kudus’ arrival at Tottenham and the acquisition of Joao Palhinha on loan have so far been a success.
Meanwhile, Tottenham’s signing of Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig has been labelled as their biggest transfer in years. But it has not all been sunshine and rainbows for the Spurs chairman.
Morgan Gibbs-White’s extension at Nottingham Forest cut deep in the hearts of fans, while Eberechi Eze to Arsenal almost finished them off, and Levy.
But the ever-constant Tottenham figure could win back a couple of brownie points if he facilitates another exit before 1 September.

Yves Bissouma tipped to ‘resurrect’ Galatasaray move
Yves Bissouma has been linked with an exit from Tottenham since the transfer window first opened.
The defensive midfielder has struggled with fitness and discipline since he arrived from Brighton in 2022. After a series of closed doors, Bissouma was inches away from signing for Galatasaray this summer.
But in its final moments, the move fell through, and the out-of-favour midfielder was back at square one. However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes not all hope is lost regarding a potential move to the Turkish club.
“I thought Galatasaray was the perfect move for him,” Wenham said.
“He’d be at a big club playing Champions League. There’s money there. Maybe it’ll be resurrected, and maybe it’s more of a trying to lock the price move.
“So I still think that’d be a good move for him. But if not, he does need to secure a move somewhere because I just don’t see him getting any football.”
What are the most likely scenarios for Yves Bissouma at Tottenham?
The most favourable outcome for all involved is that Bissouma leaves the Lilywhites this summer, whether this is at Galatasaray or another club.
Bissouma could be reintegrated into Thomas Frank’s team and see gametime between now and the end of the season.
However, the likeliest option at the moment is that he leaves on a free transfer at the end of the season. Limited gametime would likely coincide with this.
Either way, if Tottenham do collect a fee for Bissouma, it will most likely be less than the £30million they paid for him.
As a result, despite his importance to their Europa League final win, Bissouma’s time at Tottenham was at the very least underwhelming, and at the very most a resounding failure.
