Heading into the month without a league win, an unbeaten October with one draw and three successive victories has seen Roberto nominated for the first time as our Head Coach.

Each result and performance has asked different questions of the squad who have shown a real spirit and togetherness to turn things around and surge into the top half of the table with 10 points from a possible 12.

First up, we responded from going a goal and a man down to earn a deserved late point in the 1-1 draw at Manchester United through Dominic Solanke's stoppage-time leveller before our opening win duly arrived in the 3-1 home success over Coventry City off the back of a productive training camp in Marbella, Spain. Goals from James Maddison, Omar Marmoush and Ben Davies as well as Dejan Kulusevski's return only adding to the feel-good factor at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

That positive momentum carried over into our subsequent trip to rivals Chelsea where a Mike Penders own goal and a superb solo effort from Mathys Tel capped a team performance of the ages to come away with only our second victory at Stamford Bridge in 36 years.

Then a dominant, professional display helped see off 10-man Crystal Palace with set piece goals from Archie Gray and Jan Paul van Hecke securing a consecutive 2-0 scoreline to round off an impressive month under the Italian.

Roberto is up against five of his peers for October's award with the vote closing at 12 noon on Monday 9 November.
