Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has disclosed he has undergone surgery once more to address an issue with his knee. Alarm bells rang after the Sweden international was seen limping earlier this week, but Kulusevski has insisted the matter is nothing to fret about.

The former Juventus ace clarified that he had received a procedure to extract some material from the region. "Just to clarify things," he posted on his Instagram story. "I'm limping because I had a small intervention in the knee 2 weeks ago. Went in and took out what was not supposed to be there.

Several Spurs players will be hoping to return to action soon, with a considerable gap before the Premier League resumes. Guglielmo Vicario underwent hernia surgery on Monday and is expected to be fit within the coming month.

Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison are all approaching the final stages of their recovery before rejoining team training. Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies and Wilson Odobert, who was spotted on crutches at Sunday's match, are all pressing ahead with their rehabilitation alongside Kulusevski.
