Dele Alli has returned to Tottenham Hotspur’s training facilities at Hotspur Way to carry out individual sessions.

Four years on from his Tottenham exit, Dele has made a return to north London over recent weeks.

Dele attended the North London Derby just the other week as he greeted the fans during the half-time interval.

It has been a testing past few years for both Spurs and their former midfielder, who remains without a club after leaving Como last year.

Just how good was Dele Alli during his time at Spurs? 🤩

He's better than Ozil 🎶

As he continues to build on his fitness levels, Dele has now been spotted training at Hotspur Way.

Dane Scarlett trained with Dele around a year ago, but the former Spurs midfielder has struggled to land a home away from north London.

Having visited the club for the game against Arsenal, it appears Dele has been granted permission to use the facilities at Hotspur Way to continue his long road back into football.

Taking to his Instagram account, Dele shared footage from a recent session that took place on one of the many pitches at Hotspur Way.

🔮 How far will Tottenham advance in the Champions League this season?

It must be emphasised that Dele is not training with any of the Spurs sides, with a private coach leading his sessions.

The 29-year-old has not played a competitive game since March last year, where he was shown a straight red card after nine minutes in Como’s game against AC Milan.

Dele had hopes of playing at this summer’s World Cup. That may be off the table, but it will please a lot of fans to see the midfielder visibly in a better place in his life than he was a couple of years ago.

Dele remains a firm fan favourite at Tottenham

Dele will always be one of the most exciting youngsters seen to wear the shirt in north London.

A staggering return of 67 goals and 59 assists for the Lilywhites firmly cements him in the memory of the fans.

“I think I have to owe you guys a bigger thank you,” said Dele during his visit to the club.

“The love and the support I felt from the fans during my whole time at Tottenham was surreal. So I think I owe you guys a thank you rather than you owe me a thank you.”

What is next for Dele remains uncertain, with the midfielder working hard to give himself an opportunity to get back into the game.
