EBERECHI EZE will play in Crystal Palace’s European opener - as his proposed move to Tottenham drags on.
Spurs are pushing hard to sign the England star, 27.
And while it is believed a deal worth in the region of £60million is close, it is understood there remains a sticking point over payment conditions.
That will see Eze turn out against Fredrikstad in their Europa Conference League play-off first leg at Selhurst Park on Thursday.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, manager Oliver Glasner said: "Most of you will be surprised that [Eze and Guehi] will start again tomorrow because of all the rumours.
"But they are committed here and they will play a crucial part."
Eze is keen on the move to North London.
But unlike Alexander Isak at Newcastle or Yoane Wissa at Brentford, he is not kicking up a fuss.
He has not made himself unavailable to play while the transfer talk intensifies.
Eze was believed to be expecting not to feature against Chelsea on Sunday.
But he did end up turning out for the Eagles in the game after it became clear a deal with Spurs was not about to be concluded.
It could well be the same situation on Thursday in Europe as negotiations between Palace and Tottenham drag on.

Palace boss Glasner said of Eze's inclusion against Chelsea: "He was picked because he’s a Crystal Palace player.
“He trained the whole week, so there was no reason not to pick him.
“He will come to the Crystal Palace training ground today, Tuesday off, we take Wednesday and I expect him to be back playing for us against Fredrikstad.”
