Everton have a number of players attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League and abroad.

Iliman Ndiaye was subjected to a late Inter Milan bid in the summer, but Everton swiftly turned down that approach.

The Serie A giants tabled a bid in the region of £40m for Ndiaye, so clearly his stock has significantly risen over the last 12 months, or so.

Another Toffees star was sought after in the window, and now the speculation around his future is continuing even into the autumn.

Tottenham Hotspur have now joined the race in a bid to land his signature.

Tottenham Hotspur eyeing move for Jarrad Branthwaite

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is being eyed by Manchester United and Merseyside rivals Liverpool ahead of the January window.

Branthwaite, who is currently sidelined through injury, was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer and in previous windows.

Now, according to journalist Mark Brus, Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank is keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old.

It’s claimed Branthwaite wants to play Champions League football at some stage of his career, and Spurs can offer that.

However, he isn’t pushing for a move by any means and recently signed a new contract with the Merseysiders, running through until 2030.

The Friedkin Group not expected to sell Jarrad Branthwaite

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Friedkin Group would not sell Branthwaite in 2026, so these fresh Spurs links will mean very little in the eyes of the American investors.

The Everton owners are extremely ambitious and are keen to return the club to Europe after a long absence from the competitions.

According to the CIES Football Observatory, Branthwaite is the club’s most valuable asset, worth around £52m.

That value will only rise as he matures into one of the best centre-backs in the world and a fully-fledged England international.
