Bournemouth will look to resist any offers for Ilya Zabarnyi in the upcoming summer transfer window, with the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all showing an interest.

Zabarnyi has enjoyed an impressive start to life in the Premier League, forming a strong partnership with Dean Huijsen in defence for the Cherries. Huijsen has taken a large percentage of the plaudits, and his displays earned him a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid ahead of the summer.

Losing both centre-backs would be a worry for Bournemouth, especially as they look to continue progressing under manager Andoni Iraola. Bournemouth currently find themselves sitting in 11th place in the Premier League table, but they could climb as high as eighth if they win their game in hand.

Bournemouth to Resist Offers for Zabarnyi

Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Man City keen

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Bournemouth will be looking to put on a show of resistance when it comes to offers for Ukrainian defender Zabarnyi in the summer transfer window. Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City, and Newcastle are among the clubs who admire the young centre-back, but the Cherries aren't going to sell easily, especially with Huijsen departing.

Sources close to Bournemouth confirm that Huijsen's exit has radically reduced the chance of Zabarnyi heading through the exit door in the coming months. Losing both centre-backs would be a bit of a disaster for the Cherries, and it's now considered almost impossible for Zabarnyi to depart when the summer transfer window opens.

Milos Kerkez has also been linked with a departure, and it's understood that the prospect of him leaving is reasonably high. If the Hungarian left-back is sold in the next few months, that could see three of Bournemouth's starting back four leaving if Zabarnyi, who joined the club for a fee of £24m, is also offloaded.

Bournemouth are going to attempt to resist interest from the likes of Tottenham, Man City, and Newcastle, and it's no surprise. The young centre-back has played a key role under Iraola this season, and the Cherries will be desperate not to lose a large chunk of their star players.
