Tottenham Hotspur star Yves Bissouma is likely to complete a move away from Hotspur Way in the coming days despite head coach Thomas Frank being unable to secure a replacement as Turkish and Saudi Arabian admirers are showing an interest in negotiating a deal, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.
Spurs improved their attacking options in the final hours of the summer transfer window, with France international Randal Kolo Muani joining on a straight loan from last season's Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain, and they were also prepared to sanction last-minute departures.
Bryan Gil was among the eleventh-hour outgoings from Tottenham, thanks to an £8.6million agreement being reached with La Liga outfit Girona, but Bissouma has been forced to continue weighing up his options after not being handed the opportunity to embark on a fresh challenge.
Bissouma Likely to Complete Spurs Departure
Bissouma is still expected to seal his exit from Tottenham after the deadline for Premier League sides, according to GMS sources, as he is poised to receive offers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia thanks to the transfer window remaining open in both countries beyond September 1.
The defensive midfielder entered the final 12 months of his £55,000-per-week contract during the summer, resulting in Spurs being open to giving him the green-light to quit as they are determined to avoid a situation where he walks away from north London as a free agent at the end of the season.
GMS sources have been informed that there is a serious possibility of Bissouma moving onto pastures new in the coming days, despite making 44 appearances and playing a key role in Tottenham winning the Europa League during the 2024/25 campaign, as he has failed to convince Frank that he deserves extensive game time.
Although Spurs were not forced to contend with any deadline day offers for the 29-year-old, who has been described as 'ridiculous' by teammate James Maddison, he is working with his representatives to pinpoint potential landing spots and does not want to stay on board if he is a peripheral figure.
Bissouma is set to have proposals from the Turkish Super Lig and big-spending Saudi Pro League coming his way as suitors in those respective divisions still have time to secure reinforcements, GMS sources have learned, meaning that it is still anticipated for there to be one more Tottenham departure.

Frank Struggled to Convince Bissouma to Quit
GMS sources have been told that Tottenham found it difficult to convince Bissouma to take his career in another direction when the summer transfer window was open for business in the Premier League, but there remains hope behind the scenes that his head will be turned by an interested party imminently.
The Mali international has been on Spurs' books since June 2022, when he arrived for up to £35million from domestic counterparts Brighton & Hove Albion, but it is increasingly likely that he has already made his final appearance for the north Londoners after falling down the pecking order since Frank's appointment.
Tottenham do not have Bissouma in their plans for the remainder of the season, GMS sources understand, leading to him being warned that he will be handed limited opportunities if he resists the temptation to head into new surroundings when he is handed the chance by overseas admirers.
GMS sources recently revealed that Spurs held face-to-face talks with Manchester City in an attempt to gauge whether it would be possible to sign Nathan Ake ahead of Monday's 7pm cut-off point, but a switch failed to come to fruition and there were no last-gasp defensive acquisitions at the capital club.
