Bayern Munich are set to hold talks with Leroy Sane this week, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur both interested in the winger, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.
Sane, who reportedly earns around £325,000-a-week at the Allianz Arena, is out of contract this summer, meaning he could leave Bayern Munich for nothing. The former Manchester City winger has played a key role for Bayern over the years, but at the age of 29 with his deal expiring, the German club have a big decision to make on his future.
Clubs in the Premier League are now showing an interest in securing the signature of Sane, and they could land themselves a bargain if he is unable to agree a new contract with Bayern.
Bayern Set to Hold Talks With Sane This Week
Levy has excellent relationship with his agent
According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Sane is set to hold talks with Bayern this week over his future, with his deal expiring in the coming weeks. All parties want clarity over where his future lies, while there is still a chance that he extends his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Suitors understand that there is a chance he remains with the Bundesliga outfit, but there has been no breakthrough in talks over a new deal yet. Tottenham's interest in Sane is genuine, but the managerial uncertainty isn't ideal. Spurs hope to resolve Ange Postecoglou's future this week, and there is still a chance he heads through the exit door.
Daniel Levy has an excellent relationship with Sane's agent, Pini Zahavi, and the pair have held talks over a potential deal for Sane, GIVEMESPORT sources have confirmed.
Arsenal Have Expressed Interest in Leroy Sane
Nothing is advanced yet
According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Arsenal are another club to have expressed an interest in signing Sane, described as 'world-class', ahead of the summer transfer window, but nothing is advanced yet. The feeling is that the Gunners could opt to bring in a younger winger, even though Sane is seen as a market opportunity.
Arsenal's priority is to bring in a left-sided attacker, but Sane prefers and predominantly plays on the right-hand side. It's understood that any signing to come in on the right-hand side would have to be deputy to Bukayo Saka, who is expected to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Sane suitors, such as Tottenham and Arsenal, remain unsure whether he is going to leave Bayern in the summer transfer window.
