Tottenham look set to be reunited with Fabio Paratici in the coming weeks.

Paratici, 53, is edging closer to a Tottenham return two years after the Managing Director of Football made the decision to resign from his role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This comes after Paratici and Johan Lange were spotted in talks at Tottenham ahead of the Super Cup clash against PSG in Udine.

Since then, the Lilywhites have picked up some positive results under Thomas Frank, with Spurs most recently beating Manchester City at the Etihad.

As a result, the latest development surrounding Paratici is set to come as a further boost to the North London Club this summer.

There is no getting away from the frustration surrounding the transfer window on Hotspur Way right now, regardless of the excellent results.

This comes after Tottenham missed out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, despite having an initial free run at signing the England international from Crystal Palace.

With that being said, the reintroduction of a familiar face in N17 could prove to be exactly what the Lilywhites need to transform their activity in the upcoming transfer windows.

This looks set to be the case with Paratici, two years after the Italian moved away to battle against his ban on certain football-related activities.

Ben Jacobs has reported (26 August) that the 53-year-old is set to return to Tottenham once the summer transfer window has shut.

With the market closing on 1 September, where Paratici has acted as a consultant, the former Juventus man could be set to take up a role in N17 in either September or October.

Fabio Paratici has mixed transfer record at Tottenham

There is no getting away from the annoyance surrounding the Spurs faithful right now due to the lack of transfer activity.

Hopes will emerge of a better future in the market once Paratici returns on a permanent basis after his consultant role this summer.

With that being said, lessons will have to be learnt from his prior spell, having brought in a hugely positive addition like Cristian Romero, while also being let down by someone like Bryan Gil.

It looks as if the hit list has had a sizable impact on the Lilywhites, with many contributing heavily to the Europa League win last season

The frustration will come with the latter list, which does represent a concern, although many of those did appear to be useful additions at the time.

That is the difficulty of the transfer market and highlights the issues that Paratici will continue to face.
