A Juventus midfielder is now pushing to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but he is just one of three midfield options that Fabio Paratici, Thomas Frank, and Johan Lange are considering at the moment.

While there has been a lot of drama surrounding Spurs’ pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White, the Lilywhites have already decided what is next on their agenda after they get the Nottingham Forest man through the door.

According to reports over recent days, Tottenham want to land a top-class, particularly as Yves Bissouma is being linked with an exit from Spurs.

Several sources have claimed that Thomas Frank’s men have expressed an interest in bringing Douglas Luiz back to the Premier League, and there has now been an update on Tottenham’s pursuit of the Juventus man.

Douglas Luiz would love to sign for Tottenham Hotspur

It has now been revealed by TBR Football that Luiz would ‘love’ to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

The outlet says that Fabio Paratici, who works as a consultant for Spurs, is aware of the Brazilian’s desire to come to N17 after Juventus permitted the midfielder to find a new club.

The former Aston Villa man’s entourage are talking to various sides, with the player wanting to return to England, just a year after swapping Villa Park for Turin.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The report adds that Luiz’s entourage are ‘pushing’ for a move to Tottenham but the Lilywhites also have other defensive midfielders on their radar.

Spurs are also tracking two other midfielders

TBR Football backs up what we have heard from other publications over recent days by naming Adam Wharton and Joao Palhinha as the two other number-sixes on Tottenham’s radar.

The report claims that Bayern Munich are looking to cash in on Palhinha, and the former Fulham man is being offered to many clubs around Europe.

Meanwhile, the North Londoners are continuing to keep a close eye on Wharton’s situation and could push ahead with a move for the Crystal Palace star should he become available.
