Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Portuguese international attacker Rafael Leao from AC Milan.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed on YouTube that Fabio Paratici has a close relationship with Milan and the agents of the player. If Tottenham decide to make a move for him, they are likely to involve the Italian transfer negotiations.
Tottenham have been linked with the player in recent years as well.
It will be interesting to see if they decide to move for the attacker this summer. He could prove to be a useful acquisition for them. The 26-year-old scored 12 goals last season and picked up 13 assists as well.
Paratici to help seal Leao transfer?
“They’re going to have to determine, is it Leao? The interest there is genuine, but it’s always been difficult to get Leao away from Milan,” Jacobs said.
“Paratici would be parachuted in to be involved in that deal because he has an excellent relationship and, to my knowledge, the player’s side too. So the glimmer of hope with Leao is that Milan need to bring in some finances, they don’t have any European football, and if they were heading into this season with Champions League football, then the door on a Leao exit would’ve been entirely shut.”
Tottenham need someone like Rafael Leao
Son Heung-min has decided to leave the club this summer, and Brazilian International Richarlison could follow him out the door. They will need to replace both players, and Leao would be a quality option. He is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will add goals, creativity, and unpredictability to the Tottenham attack.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be exciting for the Portuguese international. He is in the peak years of his career, and he will look to test himself at the highest level. He has the physical and technical attributes to do well in English football, and he will look to prove himself in England.
