Tottenham expected to make ‘exciting’ attacking signing
Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make an ‘exciting’ attacking signing this month, according to Dean Jones.
The Spurs journalist was told that following Gallagher’s arrival, the fans should be excited about what else is to come in January.
The North London club were keen to add to their attack this month, regardless, but injuries and player sales have made a new signing even more necessary.

Earlier this month, Tottenham sold Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace and also lost Mohammed Kudus to an injury until March.
Thomas Frank’s attack is now rather depleted, with Randal Kolo Muani, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert the only fit wingers.

Complete the sentence: I would like to see Tottenham sign ________________ as the club’s new winger…
Who should Spurs’ top winger target be this month?
“I’ve been told that previously, and on the back of them agreeing the deal for Conor Gallagher, I was told there’s more to come, and the fan base should be excited.”
A right winger now seems to be the priority, given the uncertainty surrounding the injuries of Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski.
Tottenham could return for Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco this month, having tried to sign him initially back in the summer.
Tottenham also set for key outgoings in January
Tottenham are also focusing on offloading deadwood and raising further funds by selling players this month, according to Tom Allnutt.
Yves Bissouma and Radu Dragusin are expected to be among the players who could leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“I think they’ll also be focusing in the last couple of weeks, but on outgoings. And there are two or three, I was told two or three weeks ago that this could be a big window for sales. They were sort of losing a lot of patience with some fringe players,” Alnutt said on The Tottenham Way.
“I think we can all guess who that might be. I mean, Johnson’s gone, Bissouma clearly, I think they want to sell this January.
“Dragusin, for example, there are players, I think, who they will definitely be looking to shift in this January. That might be the busier end of the second couple of weeks.”
