Fabrizio Romano has revealed what he has heard about Tottenham’s interest in one Premier League star amid claims they have launched a mammoth offer.
It was first reported by Sky Sports last week that Spurs were ready to spend big on Zabarnyi, who has developed into one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League.
The development took many Spurs fans by surprise, particularly amidst reports that Cristian Romero now appears likely to stay at Tottenham.
According to various sources, Zabarnyi prefers to join PSG over Spurs, but the Parisians have refused to meet Bournemouth’s asking price for the defender.

It was even asserted by journalist Duncan Castles on The Transfers Podcast on Monday that Tottenham have submitted a club record offer for Illia Zabarnyi.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now said on his YouTube channel that Tottenham have not made any concrete move for the Ukraine international so far.
The journalist claimed that it is PSG who are currently pushing to take the Cherries star to the French capital on the back of his outstanding campaign at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Romano added that Tottenham Hotspur are focused on other priorities at the moment, including their efforts to secure Mogan Gibbs-White.
Zabarnyi is not the only centre-back who has been linked with a move to N17, with reports over recent weeks claiming that Tottenham are leading the race to sign Genoa’s Koni De Winter.
In fact, it was claimed by The I Paper a few days ago that Spurs are currently locked in talks with Genoa over De Winter, who is valued at £22m.
