Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that talks have already been held regarding the sale of Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin in January.

Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware that there has been plenty of speculation linking Dragusin with a return to Serie A in January.

It was first reported that AS Roma have enquired about the availability of Dragusin as they look to bolster their defence over the coming weeks.

It subsequently emerged that the Spurs centre-back is also on the wishlist of Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli as we approach the January transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano says Radu Dragusin’s situation at Tottenham could change

Over recent days, an increasing number of Italian outlets have suggested that Fabio Paratici could take the Spurs defender to Fiorentina if he takes over as La Viola’s head of football.

Romano has now confirmed that both Fiorentina and Roma have made enquiries about Dragusin, and while Tottenham have not greenlighted a sale yet, they could do so over the coming weeks.

The journalist said on his YouTube channel: “A name to keep an eye on certainly during the winter market is that of Radu Dragusin, central defender of Tottenham, who is returning from an injury and who could return to Italy.

“In this case, we must be patient with Tottenham, because as of today, Tottenham have not given the okay for the player, but it is expected that this matter could be unlocked in the coming weeks. Two clubs that have started, as far as I understand, to think about it are Roma and Fiorentina.”

What fee do Spurs want for Dragusin?

Some sources have said that Tottenham value Dragusin at €30m (£26.1m) ahead of the January transfer window.

Others have suggested that Spurs could be open to loaning out the 23-year-old with an option or obligation to buy in the summer for the right conditions.
