Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Southampton's Tyler Dibling amid Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur interest in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter.
After an impressive breakthrough season in the Premier League, Dibling is attracting interest from around the world. Despite being just 19 years old, Dibling made a significant impact in the Premier League for the Saints, even though they suffered relegation to the Championship.
Although Dibling didn't contribute a huge amount in terms of goals and assists, his talent is clear to see when you consider how young he is. After getting a taste of England's top flight, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Dibling seek a move to a top club in the summer transfer window.
He's liked by all top clubs around Europe
Writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter, Romano has confirmed that all top clubs admire Southampton youngster Dibling, but there is nothing concrete ongoing as it stands. Responding to a question on Manchester United and Tottenham's interest, Romano said...
"He's been linked with several clubs every week, all top clubs like him... but still nothing concrete ongoing."
Reports have suggested that Tottenham would be willing to offload Brazilian forward Richarlison to secure the signature of Dibling in the summer transfer window. Spurs are hoping to strike a deal for around £40m, and the sale of Richarlison could help fund their pursuit.
It's also been claimed that Manchester United are one of the sides in the race to sign Dibling. Some reports have claimed that the Saints could demand £100m to allow Dibling to depart, but a fee of around £60m could tempt the soon-to-be Championship into selling.
It would be an impressive statement if Southampton manage to convince Dibling to stay at St Mary's Stadium ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign, but it certainly won't be easy with so many clubs showing an interest.
