Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott's future is 'one to watch', with three or four clubs interested, according to Fabrizio Romano, writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move to sign Elliott this summer, and a departure appears possible considering some of the players Liverpool have brought in over the last few months. Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike have both arrived through the door to bolster Arne Slot's attacking options, meaning Elliott could find regular minutes hard to come by in the 2024/2025 campaign.
It wouldn't be a surprise if Slot was keen to keep Elliott, labelled as 'special' by the EFL, at Anfield due to his versatility and ability, but there's a chance he might want to seek a new challenge to receive regular game time. If a club in the Premier League is willing to make Elliott a guaranteed starter, then it will be interesting to see his stance on a move.
Three or four clubs are keen on the midfielder
Writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter, Romano has confirmed that Elliott's situation at Liverpool is going to be 'one to watch' in the summer transfer window. The respected reporter adds that three of four clubs are interested in signing the England youth international, but no decision has been made on his future just yet...
"It's gonna be one to watch. There's interest from 3-4 clubs for Elliott, and he's assessing options. No decision made yet on his Liverpool future, but an interesting one."
Reports recently emerged that Tottenham are interested in signing Liverpool's Elliott and have made an approach to secure his signature. Spurs are in the market for an attacking midfielder after a deal to sign Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White fell through.
Elliott's future seems uncertain as it stands, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him head through the exit door before the summer transfer window slams shut in September.
