Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a stunning late deadline day swoop for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Spurs have made contact with PSG overnight regarding a possible deal for the French attacker, who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus and had been keen to secure a permanent move to Turin.

Spurs were one of the clubs that attempted to sign Kolo Muani on loan in January, but to no avail. They are now back in for the 26-year-old, although a potential deal is reliant on several conditions.

Tottenham Make Last-Minute Kolo Muani Move

Kolo Muani has rarely been mentioned as a possible option for Spurs because he had been expected to make a permanent move to Juve. But a switch to the Old Lady has fallen through, paving the way for the North Londoners to re-ignite their interest.

Romano revealed that the Lilywhites had been informed that the France international was "available" and that their interest is now "serious". He added that the move "depends on fee and numbers as PSG want an obligation to buy guaranteed".

Kolo Muani isn't part of Luis Enrique's plans despite joining the Parisians from Eintracht Frankfurt for £76m back in the summer of 2023. He was sent out on loan to Juve after struggling for minutes in the French capital, and he re-found form at the Allianz Stadium.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Randal Kolo Muani managed 10 goals in 22 games at Juventus.

The French striker could be a significant acquisition for Thomas Frank, who had opted for Richarlison as his number nine at the start of the season. The Brazilian attacker fared well with an excellent brace against Burnley but was heavily criticised for a poor performance in a 1-0 home loss to Bournemouth over the weekend.
