"JP", who celebrated her 18th birthday last month, has spent pre-season with our first team and made an appearance in our 1-0 win over Granada as part of our performance camp in southern Spain.
Joining our Academy set-up at Under-10s level, the young forward has progressed through our system and became a regular member of Martin Ho’s training squad over the last 12 months.
Jhanaie Pierre, said: “I'm over the moon! I feel like I've put in a lot of hard work and it's turned out great. I'm just grateful, it means a lot to me and my family.
“I've been at Tottenham Hotspur since Under-10s and it's been such a journey, to be honest. Obviously with highs and lows, but it's been great and I've learnt a lot through this experience. I'm just grateful that now I get to show the world who I am."
Martin Ho, said: "JP signing her first professional contract is a really important moment, not only for her, but for what we are trying to build as a football club.
"We want to identify, develop and invest in talented young players, and this is a clear example of that pathway in action. We have a strong academy network, we are committed to developing our own players, and we want young players to see that if they work hard, there is a real opportunity here at Tottenham.
"JP has trained with us regularly since I arrived at the Club, and what has stood out is her attitude, her commitment and the way she has continued to improve. She has worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and she is fully deserving of it. Since returning for pre-season, she has been outstanding. She's shown real personality, confidence and quality in the way she has trained, and has continued to take important steps in her development.
"This contract is a significant investment in JP and in the future of the Club. Our responsibility now is to keep supporting her, challenging her and helping her develop all parts of her game so she can continue progressing towards the level we believe she is capable of reaching."
Alongside training with the first team last term, the 18-year-old has featured in two of our Under-19s opening three games of this campaign, scoring three goals, including a brace in our 7-1 win over London Bees in the FA Women’s National League. She made 19 appearances for our Under-19s in 2025/26, scoring five goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
On the international stage, JP has represented England at Under-17 level and in April, 2026, she received her maiden call-up to the Lionesses’ Under-19 squad.
