Akliouche was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham during the summer window, and the 23-year-old has now admitted that he was flattered by the reports, but made it clear that his focus will be on beating the Premier League side.

Maghnes Akliouche is looking forward to the reunion with Spurs star
The French international made it clear that he and his teammates will be looking to make the most of their home advantage and get their first win of the Champions League campaign.
He also revealed that he is looking forward to a reunion with a familiar face, with whom he played during his Under-21 days.
Akliouche told Monaco’s official website: “Of course, we want to win. What’s more, the match against Tottenham will be at home; we really enjoy playing here with our fans. It’s going to be an important match, and we have the ability to do something, so we’ll have to give it our all to get the win.
