The game, which is available to play on the Premier League website and app, is now available for you to log in and select your 15-man squad to compete in mini-leagues against your friends and family.

You can also play alongside fellow Spurs supporters in our Official Mini League, which can be entered by selecting us as your favourite club when signing up for a myPremier League account.

After what has been a busy summer for us, Scout have used their expertise to pick out some of the newest additions to the squad who could be excellent buys in FPL, in order to help you win your mini-leagues.

Marcos Senesi (£6.0m)

FPL introduced Defensive Contribution Points for the first time during the 2025/26 season, and Marcos was the king of defensive contributions across the defenders in the game.

The centre-back registered 418 defensive contributions from a mix of clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles, which resulted in him achieving 50 Defensive Contribution Points for his FPL managers. This was six more than the next best defender.

Marcos also returned 11 clean sheets, six assists and 14 bonus points for his owners on his way to 175 points for the season. Only two defenders in the game could better his tally.

Our new number five was introduced to supporters for the first time in our recent pre-season friendly against TSG Hoffenheim at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a whirlwind summer in which the defender who earned a recall to the Argentina National Team just after signing for us and played in his first World Cup as he helped his country to the World Cup Final.

Mateus Fernandes (£6.0m)

Across his 35 league starts last season, Mateus registered three goals, four assists and eight clean sheet points. The midfielder had 28 attempts on goal and created 37 chances for his teammates, which, in the Spurs side last season, was only bettered by Pedro Porro (£5.5m), who created 53 chances.

The Portuguese midfielder was responsible for 14% of the assists created by West Ham players last season (while on the pitch), which was only bettered by two of their players.

In total, he registered 135 FPL points last season, which was second among his former team-mates.

Mateus has already scored his first goal in Lilywhite, smashing in a spectacular volley in our 1-0 win in our pre-season opener against MK Dons.

Sandro Tonali (£5.5m)

Last season for Newcastle United, Sandro made 257 defensive contributions in his 35 league appearances, producing two assists and helping keep a clean sheet on eight occasions.

The midfielder from the Lombardia region of Italy and who netted from distance in our pre-season clash with Chelsea in Sydney, also created 32 chances for his former team-mates, which was only bettered by one other Newcastle player.

Our new number 16 also had 14 shots from set pieces last season, taking 14 free kicks while he also took 49 corners.

Jan Paul Van Hecke (£5.0m)

JP had an outstanding season last time out for Brighton. The defender, who was given his first Premier League start by Roberto De Zerbi in January, 2023, registered 148 FPL points during his final campaign on the south coast.

In total, he kept 10 clean sheets last season, scored three goals, registered three assists and returned 30 Defensive Contribution Points, while the Netherlands international also registered eight bonus points and produced two double-digit returns.

Finally, JP managed an impressive 23 shots on goal last season, with 18 coming from inside the box, four of which were classified as big chances.

Ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline at 6.30pm (UK time) on Friday, 21 August, you can make unlimited changes to your team and can own a maximum of three players from each of the 20 Premier League clubs.
