Thomas Frank has another chance to assess his Tottenham squad as the Lilywhites prepare for a friendly double-header.

Tottenham will take on Wycombe Wanderers at Hotspur Way on Saturday (26 July) at 11am ahead of a clash with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road at 3pm.

While the clash with Wycombe will be played behind closed doors, fans will be able to watch the game via SPURSPLAY.

There are several players that fans will be keen to catch a glimpse of, including Luka Vuskovic, who stunned spectators with his performance against Reading in Spurs’ first pre-season friendly.

However, it seems that Frank already has a clear idea of who he will name in the matchday squad.

Archie Gray, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert to play v Wycombe

Archie Gray, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert were all spared in the clash against Reading after participating in the Under-21 Euros.

England’s Gray ended the tournament with a winner’s medal while Odobert and Tel’s France were defeated in the semi-final by Germany.

Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the trio are likely to return to action against Wycombe.

“I think the game at Hotspur Way against Wycombe will include Gray, Tel and Odobert,” Wenham said.

“Those that have come back a little bit later, it just makes it a bit easier for them to play the game at Hotspur Way and then go home rather than travelling up to Luton on the coach with the players.

“However, apart from those three, I think it’s impossible to predict who will be in what squad because Frank said he’s going to name two equally strong squads.”

Tel will be a key focus against Wycombe

With Son Heung-min potentially set to leave Tottenham this summer, most eyes will be on Tel as his possible replacement.

The Frenchman’s loan spell at Spurs was made permanent this summer after an impressive few months.

As a result, fans will be extra attentive to his performance on Saturday as they prepare for life at Tottenham without Son.
