Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank is under increasing pressure with the north London club after an inconsistent season, and it's time for them to try and poach Oliver Glasner from Crystal Palace.

Tottenham's latest defeat against Nottingham Forest, which saw Spurs concede three without reply, has seen the pressure mount further on Danish manager Frank. Spurs now sit in 11th place in the Premier League table, and although Frank doesn't appear to be under threat of being sacked imminently, he's going to have to turn things around.

Tottenham supporters are starting to turn on the manager, which is never a good sign, and the underlying data isn't in favour of the capital club. Spurs are now preparing to face Liverpool at the weekend with Frank remaining in the dugout, but he might not be there too much longer.

Tottenham Must Hire Oliver Glasner ASAP

Although Tottenham don't appear to be at breaking point with Frank at the moment, it could be time for them to make a move to appoint Crystal Palace manager Glasner, as if they don't do it now, they might be beaten to his signature. The Austrian manager has attracted interest from a host of clubs, and with his contract situation unresolved, Spurs need to make a move as soon as possible.

According to a report from Caught Offside, Tottenham are one of the sides who are monitoring Glasner ahead of a potential move if they sack Frank. GIVEMESPORT sources have claimed that Palace are assessing potential replacements for Glasner, who is reluctant to sign a new deal at Selhurst Park as it stands.

With speculation surrounding the future of Glasner at Palace, Spurs should be looking to replace Frank with him before they are beaten by another club in the race.

Glasner an Upgrade on Thomas Frank

What Glasner, described as 'world-class' by Sky Sports, has achieved in such a short space of time with Palace can't be underestimated, delivering two trophies to a side who were so starved of silverware. Frank is a top manager in his own right, but he's had minimal success in terms of trophies when it comes to the highest level.
