Fulham pile more misery on winless Tottenham Hotspur | OneFootball

Two first half goals helped give Fulham a 2-1 win at home to struggling Tottenham Hotspur who have now gone 10 league games without a win.

Igor Tudor said during the week about how difficult his job is to turn Spurs' fortunes around and that was on display once again at Craven Cottage.

There was some surprising symmetry between Fulham's early goal and the Randal Kolo Muani goal that was disallowed in the North London derby last week. In that game it was a push in the back that saw the goal ruled out and that's exactly what Raúl Jiménez gave to Radu Dragusin in the build up.

However, despite looking at a potential foul VAR decided not to intervene meaning that when the ball did go to Harry Wilson his effort counted.

There was no controversy about Spurs' second goal though. Alex Iwobi played a one-two with Wilson on the edge of the area before producing a brilliant side foot finish from outside the box that Guglielmo Vicario wasn't able to keep out.

Tottenham did give themselves a chance to get something from the game in the 66th minute when Archie Gray sent in a cross from the left that Richarlison headed in from close range. The Brazilian then wrestled with Calvin Bassey for the ball to get the restart going – an undignified scene that saw both players booked.

However, Spurs weren't able to find a way to draw level and are now on four-game losing streak and still yet to win in the Premier League in 2026. If it wasn't for the teams below them also suffering defeats things could be much worse.
