GABRIEL reignited his feud with Richarlison with a cheeky Instagram post after the North London derby.

The Arsenal defender, 27, watched from the sidelines as his team-mates swatted Tottenham aside at the Emirates.

He picked up an injury on international duty, ruling him out for around a month.

And that meant he could play no part.

But Mikel Arteta did not miss his No6 as Eberechi Eze’s superb hat-trick fired the Gunners to a 4-1 win.

Richarlison did grab a goal-of-the-season contender with his quick-thinking, long-range lob.

But the day belonged to Arsenal.

And Gabriel could not resist a dig at his Brazilian compatriot.

In July, the Spurs forward posted a picture of his Man of the Match award on Instagram and tagged Gabriel after a 1-0 win over Arsenal in a pre-season friendly.

Gabriel responded at the time by sharing a picture of three Premier League player of the match awards picked up against Tottenham.

And after the first league fixture of the season – and the first since Richarlison’s antagonistic post – the centre-back wasted no time biting back and rubbing in the Gunners’ latest derby win.

He posed for a photo wearing Eze’s shirt and an Arsenal scarf while holding the signed matchball, his team-mate’s Player of the Match trophy and his own Arsenal Player of the Month gong from October.

Gabriel simply captioned the picture with sigh and shrug emojis for his 2.1million Instagram followers.

But then, crucially, he tagged his international team-mate Richarlison in the post.

And that sparked a hilarious meltdown in the comments and among fans on social media.

One said: “Gabriel got back to Richarlison.”

Another wrote: “Gabriel tagged Richarlison in this post I am dying.”

A third added: “Big Gabi just tagged Richarlison on his post after our win. I rate the pettiness.”

And a final user replied: “It’s not even the fact that Gabriel tagged Richarlison… It’s the fact that his wife, Gabrielle is cackling in the comments.”

Gabriel’s Instagram post was not the only winding up by the red half of North London.

It started when the Gunners unveiled a tifo featuring ex-Tottenham then Arsenal hero Sol Campbell.
