Gary Lineker believes that Tottenham Hotspur need a big personality like Harry Redknapp to come in and galvanise the club.
The gamble of Tudor has not worked, and now the North London club must bring in a coach who understands the Premier League.
“I honestly still don’t think it would be a bad idea to bring someone like Harry Redknapp in. Not someone like, but Harry Redknapp,” Lineker told The Rest is Football.

“I know it sounds a bit mad, and he’s been out of the game for a while, but you know what he’s like? That big personality you can lift everybody coming in.”

Martin O’Neil has done a seriously impressive job at Celtic, and Lineker backs Redknapp to have a similar impact at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“I mean, it’s in a moment of crisis, a little bit like Martin O’Neil has done on a couple of occasions now at Celtic and lifted them. I mean, the thought of them going down.”
Another manager who knows the club and the Premier League is Tim Sherwood, who says he could not say no to Tottenham.
Sean Dyche has also been linked with the Tottenham job, which would be a very interesting dynamic considering Nottingham Forest are their biggest relegation rivals.
