Harry and Sonny break PL record | 2022
Six seasons in the making, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son broke the record for goal combinations in the Premier League in style against Leeds at Elland Road on 26 February, 2022. Having stormed into a 3-0 lead by half-time, the pair with an almost telepathic understanding did it again in the second half. Harry clipped a trademark pass over the top, Sonny controlled perfectly and slotted home for 4-0. That was goal combination 37, taking them ahead of Chelsea's Didier Drogba/Frank Lampard's 36. The pair finished on 47 goal combinations for us - 11 clear at the top of a list that also includes legendary Spurs pair Darren Anderton and Teddy Sheringham.
Most goal combinations | Premier League
Kane/Son 47
Drogba/Lampard 36
Aguero/D Silva 29
Henry/Pires 29
Anderton/Sheringham 27
Lucas Moura's memorable last Spurs goal | 2023
Lucas Moura had already cemented his place in Spurs folklore with that miracle night against Ajax in Amsterdam in 2019, when his hat-trick in the second half and late, late winner hauled us back from 3-0 down on aggregate to 3-3 and a place in the Champions League Final. There wasn't a dry Lilywhite eye in the house that night - and it was the same at Elland Road four years later. We'd already announced the popular Brazil star's departure when we faced Leeds in our last game of the season on 28 May, 2023. Lucas came off the bench with four minutes remaining for his 221st and final appearance - four minutes later, he was swarmed by team-mates and had the away end in raptures with another moment to remember. Picking the ball just inside the Leeds half, Lucas got away from four defenders before slotting home. Another magic moment for Moura!
