Hamburg officials have no hope of arranging a second loan deal to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 19-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought-after players right now, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona among the clubs chasing him.
Will Luka Vuskovic stay or leave if Tottenham are relegated to the Championship?
Vuskovic has been spectacular at Hamburg during his loan spell in the Bundesliga, which is making it tricky for Tottenham to keep hold of him.
Spurs will surely want to keep him in the squad next season, especially with Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero likely to leave.
A return to Hamburg had been touted for Vuskovic; however, the competition to sign him on loan again is likely to be far too strong.
Hamburg have no hope of a second Luka Vuskovic loan
Hamburg have already given up hope of signing Luka Vuskovic on loan for next season, according to Hamburger Abendblatt.
The defender is now ‘extremely unlikely’ to return to the Bundesliga on loan, despite Vuskovic being keen on a return to HSV.

He has been keen to play alongside his brother, Mario, at Hamburg, who is due to return from a doping ban in November.
But with Tottenham keen to bring Vuskovic back for next season and multiple major clubs targeting him, that dream now looks to be very unrealistic.
The North London club will likely need to replace Van de Ven and Romero in the summer, and in Vuskovic, they already have the perfect candidate.
🤔 Is this a realistic Tottenham team for the Championship?
But relegation to the Championship could make keeping the teenager very tricky, especially given the clubs that are keen on him.
Barcelona have now entered the race for Vuskovic, with Bayern Munich having also been so impressed by the young defender.
He is contracted with Spurs until the summer of 2030, making a move away from the North London club quite complicated.
