Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to appoint Igor Tudor as interim manager until the end of the season, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.

Spurs have decided to roll the dice on the Croatian boss to ensure they don't drop into the relegation zone in the Premier League, with Tuesday night's 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United leaving them two spots and five points above London rivals West Ham United in the bottom three.

Tottenham wanted to bring in an experienced option to lead them to safety and the 47-year-old fits the bill given the impact he has made at Lazio and Juventus in the closing stages of the previous two seasons.

Tudor Arrives With Impressive End of Season Record

While Tudor was sacked by Juve at the end of October following a run of eight matches without a win, it was he who turned their 2024-25 season around to finish fourth in Serie A following a difficult campaign under the leadership of Thiago Motta.

After being appointed in March following successive heavy defeats to Atalanta and Fiorentina, the Croat led the Old Lady to five wins and three draws in their final nine league games.

Remarkably, the 47-year-old had an identical record after replacing Maurizio Sarri at Lazio in March 2024, taking the club from ninth to seventh and securing European football qualification.

Igor Tudor Will Transform Randal Kolo Muani

Alongside Frank, one of the biggest disappointments of the season for Tottenham has been Randal Kolo Muani.

Spurs fans would have been excited about what the France international could do after his loan move from Paris Saint-Germain, but instead he has underwhelmed and only has three goals and three assists in 27 appearances in all competitions.

The 27-year-old is also yet to get off the mark in 18 Premier League outings for the north Londoners, despite starting on 12 occasions.

Kolo Muani did find starts hard to come by under Frank in general though, and it was reported in January that he was willing to terminate his loan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to secure a move elsewhere for more game time in the transfer window.

The Frenchman did stay though, and he could be the player who benefits the most from the appointment of Tudor.

Kolo Muani started Juve's final six matches - which brought three wins and two draws - last term under Tudor, scoring three times having previously gone eight games without a Serie A goal.

That is a promising sign that Tudor knows how to play to Kolo Muani's strengths and get him on the score-sheet, which could be vital for Spurs in the closing months of the season.
