Heung-min Son has urged his former Tottenham Hotspur teammates to remain positive and focused, despite their UEFA Super Cup heartbreak at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham Hotspur began their 2025/26 campaign on Wednesday with a clash against UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup final.

Victory over the French champions would have secured Tottenham a second European trophy in just 12 weeks, following their Europa League success back in May.

However, the night ended in disappointment for the north London club, as they squandered a two-goal lead in normal time and were eventually beaten in a penalty shootout.
