In the Premier League net spend table for the summer of 2025, Tottenham Hotspur are only around mid-table despite having a busy summer.

The summer began for Spurs with the acquisition of Mathys Tel, Kota Takai and Mohammed Kudus, while Joao Palhinha was added to the squad just before the start of the season.

Subsequently, Xavi Simons arrived from RB Leipzig in the final week of the transfer window, while Randal Kolo Muani was signed on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day.

While the Lilywhites have managed to fill most of the holes in their squad, they have been outspent by a lot of their Premier League rivals.

Tottenham have a middling net spend

The Sun calculate that Spurs spent a total of £121.5m on those signings while they raised £36.5m from player sales.

That puts the North London club’s net spend this summer at £85m, which is only the ninth highest across the Premier League.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Sunderland, Everton, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City have all spent more than Tottenham have this summer, according to the outlet.
