Manchester City play their first home match of the season when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad Stadium. Spurs have proved to be something of a bogey team for City in recent years, in a match which has rarely failed to deliver entertainment and goals. Both teams head into this clash with morale high following wins over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley respectively.

Manchester City return to the Etihad Stadium to welcome Tottenham Hotspur, in what has been a blockbuster Premier League fixture in recent years.
Last season’s 4-0 win was a rare domestic highlight for the north Londoners under Ange Postecoglou, thanks to James Maddison's brace, along with goals from Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson, as City suffered their heaviest defeat at the Etihad.
A repeat of that scoreline will be a huge ask for Thomas Frank's side, but Spurs have showed promising early signs that this Premier League campaign will be better than the last one following a convincing 3-0 win over Burnley on the opening weekend.

Richarlison's brace and a goal from Johnson were enough to convincingly dispatch The Clarets, in Frank's first league match in charge.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's side are looking a decent bet to mount an improved title challenge following a 4-0 thrashing of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Erling Haaland's two goals and debut Premier League strikes from Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki secured an emphatic win at Molineux.
