Leeds United are in Premier League action this weekend and have a huge task on their hands when they take on Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s been a promising start to life in the Premier League for Leeds United, who have shown they can compete at the highest level.

Daniel Farke’s side have been undone in the fine margins, losing four points already to agonising late goals, but are sitting in a good position in the table after their opening six games.

Goals from Joe Rodon and Sean Longstaff put Leeds in the lead against Bournemouth last weekend, but a last-gasp equaliser ensured the game finished 2-2.

Leeds will be hoping to build on the positive performance this weekend but it won’t be easy against a Tottenham Hotspur side who are finding their feet under new boss Thomas Frank.

Here’s all you need to know about the fixture.

Leeds United vs Tottenham team news

Leeds have already suffered a multitude of injuries this season and could be without three key stars on Saturday.

Dan James is definitely sidelined after suffering a knock to his ankle in training, after already struggling with a hip injury in recent weeks.

Willy Gnonto and Lucas Perri have been sidelined for the last few games but there is hope the duo could be fit enough to return against Spurs or, if not, after the international break.

Spurs, meanwhile, are struggling even more as James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin and Yves Boussouma are all out. Kolo Muani could return but Dominic Solanke and Kota Takai are still major doubts.

Tottenham fans are hoping to see Archie Gray play on his return to Leeds.

Predictions

Though Tottenham have looked improved under Frank, they are not in the best of form at present.

They have only managed to defeat League One’s Doncaster Rovers in their last four games, with draws coming against Brighton, Wolves and Bodo/Glimt.

So there are definitely weaknesses in their game and Leeds can expose them, especially at home.
