The Emirates FA Cup is back, with a host of mouth-watering fixtures for fans to sink their teeth into during third round weekend. Holders Crystal Palace will get the defence of their crown underway against National League side Macclesfield, but that is not all. The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa will also be in action on TNT Sports and discovery+.
The magic of the Emirates FA Cup will return to our screens this weekend, and there is sure to be goals, drama, and giant-killings aplenty.
Fans will have 22 third-round clashes to sink their teeth into live on TNT Sports and discovery+, meaning you can watch every fixture that falls outside of the 15:00 Saturday blackout window.
There will be four matches shown live at 19:30 on Friday, January 9, including Premier League side Nottingham Forest against Wrexham, who are owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Preston North End will host Wigan Athletic, MK Dons will take on Oxford United, and Port Vale will go head-to-head with Fleetwood Town in Friday’s other fixtures.
Four games will get underway at 12:15 on Saturday, with last season’s winners Crystal Palace set to travel to National League side Macclesfield.
There will also be an all-Premier League tie between Everton and Sunderland, as well as Cheltenham Town taking on Leicester City and Wolves against Shrewsbury Town.
Saturday’s live action will resume at 17:45, with Tottenham taking on high-flying Aston Villa, as well as Grimsby Town against Weston-super-Mare. Bristol City will also welcome Watford to Ashton Gate at that time.
Saturday’s line-up will draw to a close with a London derby between Charlton Athletic and Chelsea at The Valley, kicking off at 20:00.
Sunday will see even more excitement, kicking off with Derby against Leeds at 12:00, followed by Portsmouth v Arsenal at 14:00.
Five matches will kick off at 14:30, including another London derby, this time between West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers.
Hull City will face off with Blackburn Rovers, Mansfield Town will travel to Sheffield United, Swansea will play West Brom and Norwich host Walsall in the other 14:30 matches available on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Manchester United and Brighton will bring Sunday’s action to a close with their clash at Old Trafford, kicking off at 16:30, before Liverpool play Barnsley at Anfield at 19:45 on Monday.
