Joe Rodon hasn’t played for Leeds United since August 30 due to a hamstring injury.
Craig Bellamy is hoping to see Leeds United’s Joe Rodon return from injury on Saturday after calling the centre-back up to his Wales squad.
Rodon hasn’t played any football since pulling up with a hamstring injury against Brentford on August 30. The 29-year-old was given an initial recovery timeline of eight to 10 weeks, the end of which arrives this weekend.

Leeds host Rodon’s former club Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday lunchtime and after being part-integrated in team training last week, he could make his return. He’s at least proven fit enough to earn a place in the Wales squad for the upcoming international break.
“I’m always in contact with Joe,” Bellamy said following his squad announcement. “He feels good at this present moment. Hopefully he's involved this weekend. If he isn't, we’ll adapt around it. But he's good to go at the moment.
“When you speak to him, he always doesn't tell you if he's feeling anything at all. But he's an immense player, huge player, so fingers crossed we get to use him because we have Ben Cabango suspended as well in the first game.
“So hopefully a good week. We're able to use Joe because we definitely need him.”
Rodon is one of five Leeds players in the Wales squad and the first of two to return from injury. Harry Wilson also missed the extended international break through September and October with a quad issue.
The pair join Ethan Ampadu, Daniel James and Under-21s star Jayden Lienou in the group. Wales travel to Oslo to face Norway on Saturday November 14 before hosting Portugal at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday November 17.
“I’ll start with the players coming back. Huge,” Bellamy added. “Harry, I've had six games now in a row that he hasn't been with us, and we've clearly seen in my time here the influence that Harry's had. He's had a big influence on the team. He's been outstanding for us.
“Joe's been immense, so it's great having him. There's still players who have to come through this week. Fingers crossed when we report Sunday that we have these players available because they're really important players for us, and they've shown that, especially in my time here as well. So, I'm really happy.”
