Tottenham manager Igor Tudor has already seen how good Richarlison can be in one of his previous roles, and Spurs could be set to welcome him back against Arsenal this weekend.

Tudor was brought in last week as Tottenham looked to find a temporary replacement for Thomas Frank, who was sacked with his side tumbling towards the relegation zone. The former Juventus boss has been appointed until the end of the season, with Fabrizio Romano recently confirming that he won't see his deal extended into the next campaign.

Tudor has been in charge of some big clubs around Europe in recent years, most recently Juventus, where he spent 24 games at the helm. The 47-year-old has also managed Lazio, Marseille, Hellas Verona, and Hajduk Split, among others.

Tudor Witnessed Richarlison's Ability

Tudor will have come across some of Tottenham's current squad during his career. Players such as Randal Kolo Muani, he's managed in the past, but he's also witnessed what Richarlison is capable of firsthand.

Tottenham faced Marseille in the Champions League back in 2022, while Tudor was in charge of the French club. There are very few players who started for Tottenham that day who remain in north London, but Richarlison is one of them.

The Brazilian forward, who has been absent in recent weeks due to injury, scored twice in the second half to help guide his side to a 2-0 victory over Tudor's men. Richarlison twice scored with his head, with Spurs playing in a similar 3-4-3 system that Tudor could line up with when he arrives in north London.

Tudor will be desperate for lots of players to return to action, with Tottenham's squad incredibly thin at the moment, but he might be excited by Richarlison, despite being described as 'weak' by Gabby Agbonlahor, in particular.

Richarlison Closing in on Tottenham Return

Richarlison suffered a hamstring injury back in January, with then-manager Frank confirming that he would be out for up to seven weeks. Frank also added that he might be fit enough to return to face Arsenal, who Tottenham face this weekend.
