Igor Tudor says he has "more belief" that Tottenham will avoid relegation even after supporters turned against their own team. Spurs were embarrassed by Crystal Palace following stand-in captain Micky van de Ven's red card, leaving them just one point above the drop zone.
Thousands of supporters departed at half-time and stewards were forced to restrain others as they hurled abuse at the club hierarchy at the directors' box and club analysts positioned in the stands. The loss to Palace marks a record 11 Premier League matches without a victory, and interim manager Tudor has lost all three fixtures since taking charge, with Spurs shipping nine goals during his short tenure.

Tudor said: "It sounds strange but I believe more after this game than before. I saw something, I need to choose the right guys. Who is in the boat can stay the others can leave the boat. When the others come back I am sure we have a good team.
"I want to be positive because I cannot tell them nothing after this. They gave everything. With all the problems we have missing defenders, missing full backs, don't want to speak about that but we need to stay together. It's about believing and growing. Still nine games to play."

And Tudor also said he understood the supporters who left early and those who turned on the players with boos and furious shouts. "Understand the fans, it's normal to happen in football. They're disappointed, they wanted more. We're away. This is the moment one red card changed everything," said Tudor.

It has been a catastrophic start for Tudor, who declined to say whether he expects to stay in his job. He added: "No comment on that question. I don't think in that direction. I have my job to do and that's all."

Two-goal hero Sarr had found the net to make it 1-0 but the video replay revealed his nose was offside. Glasner said: "I've told him his nose was too long! I was very happy with the players and the way they reacted after we went behind. It was a brilliant performance."
