Tottenham Hotspur have made fresh contact over a move to sign Barcelona star Ferran Torres this summer, despite PSG making a push, according to TEAMtalk.
Spurs have already brought in Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali during this transfer window, and Roberto De Zerbi has admitted that he is now pushing for attacking reinforcements to join them in his squad.
A number of targets have been named, with Man City star Savinho a top target and contact made for Liverpool star Cody Gakpo, but it has now emerged that the club are eyeing a move for another star attacker.

Torres has never really been able to establish himself as a regular starter at the Camp Nou, but his goal record remains impressive nonetheless, with 65 goals and 23 assists in 207 appearances.
His ability to play on the wing, as a number nine or even just behind a striker would make him a perfect fit to De Zerbi's squad, and the fact he has Premier League experience would also mean there is less need for him to adapt and learn about the way the league works.
Any fee is unlikely to be too high considering his contract situation, and if Spurs can move quickly to get ahead of PSG in the race for his signature, then this could be a real coup.
