Tottenham Hotspur could be in the market for a new manager in the coming months, and according to German outlet SportBILD, Edin Terzic wants to take over from Ange Postecoglou after rejecting West Ham United earlier in the season.

Postecoglou is under immense pressure in north London as his Tottenham side battle towards the relegation zone of the Premier League. His job appears to be under threat, but he remains in the hot seat with Spurs competing in the Europa League semi-final on Thursday night.

A host of managers are being linked with taking over from Postecoglou, undoubtedly applying more pressure on the Australian manager. GIVEMESPORT sources recently confirmed that even if Tottenham win the Europa League, Postecoglou might not be able to keep his job.

Edin Terzic Wants Tottenham Job

He wants to return to management

According to a report from SportBILD (via Sport Witness), former Borussia Dortmund manager Terzic is interested in taking over from Postecoglou if Tottenham were to sack their manager. The 42-year-old is currently a free agent, and if Tottenham were to make him an offer, he'd immediately be keen on entering discussions.

Terzic also rejected an offer from West Ham earlier in the season before they opted to appoint Graham Potter.

Terzic, labelled 'incredible' by Hans-Joachim Watzke, left Dortmund at the end of last season, and he's been out of work ever since. GIVEMESPORT sources confirmed back in January that Tottenham were interested in the German manager, but they opted to keep Postecoglou at the time.

The sacking of Postecoglou feels inevitable at this stage after losing 19 Premier League games this season. Spurs currently sit in 16th place in England's top flight with just 37 points, but the supporters will be hoping a Europa League victory could salvage their season.

Tottenham have an excellent chance of reaching the final of the competition, with a two-legged tie standing in their way of facing either Athletic Club or Manchester United in the final.
