Tottenham Hotspur forward Dejan Kulusevski could depart North London after the season amid growing interest from clubs in Italy, according to former scout Mick Brown.

The Sweden international is reportedly attracting interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Napoli and could consider a move should an opportunity arise.

Spurs, however, are unlikely to sell given Kulusevski’s impressive season under Ange Postecoglou and his growing stature as one of the team’s leading players.

Kulusevski is one of the best-paid players at Tottenham, earning £110,000 per week, and is under contract until June 2028.

Serie A Clubs Want Dejan Kulusevski

AC Milan and Napoli are interested

Brown, speaking to Football Insider, revealed that several Tottenham players are frustrated with how the season has gone, including Kulusevski, who wants to compete at the highest level:

“Kulusevski is one who could leave this summer. I think a lot of the players are frustrated with the way the season has gone at Tottenham.

“Whenever I’ve seen them play, he has been one of if not their best player, so they’re not going to want to lose him unless a really big offer comes in.

“I hear a couple of the Italian clubs have been looking at him – AC Milan and Napoli. It’s a league and a country he knows after his time with Juventus, so a return might suit him.

“I think he’s going to be interested in those moves should the opportunity arise for him.

“It’s definitely one I think will be feasible even if Tottenham don’t want to let him leave, because he will want to continue playing at the highest level.”

Kulusevski has been a key player for Tottenham this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

He ranks second in goal contributions among all Spurs players, trailing only Son Heung-min, who has 22.

Kulusevski, praised as 'world-class', spent the early part of his professional career in Italy before joining Spurs permanently in 2023 from Juventus for a fee in the region of £25m.

Tottenham are believed to be determined to retain the 24-year-old, while any potential deal would require an offer in excess of £50m, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.
